Abilene Eye Institute owns their own state of the art ambulatory surgical center with 2 surgical suites on site. Dr. Thames, Dr. Phelan and Dr. McAdams offer a wide variety of implant options with cataract surgery or refractive lens exchange to help patients be less dependent on glasses. We are the only LASIK center in Abilene offering blade free LASIK using the Wavefront Allegretto 400 and Ziemer laser. Dr. Phelan is the only Visian ICL surgeon in Abilene, Our surgeons perform canaloplasty and SLT as a treatment options for glaucoma. Surgeons on call 24 hours, 7 days a week.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one base location but perform surgery in the Eastland Hospital, Breckenridge Hospital and Sweetwater Hospital.
